Staff Training Week at Kodolányi János University

Staff Training Week at Kodolányi János University

We are pleased to inform you that the Kodolányi János University, Budapest is organizing International Staff Training Week nearly each month.
The program is mainly aimed for colleagues who are involved in student mobility at Central level or at Faculty/Departmental level.
Colleagues working at other departments (HR, Marketing, Communication, Career Office and Alumni Office) are also welcome to apply.
We will try to offer some useful knowledge that can help you in the everyday work in the following topics:
* Drama workshop to handle unforeseen, stressful situations
* Communication / Change Management / Conflict Management workshop for different interactions
* Experiencing intercultural communication
* Flexible and inclusive higher education – new approaches for planning, implementing and evaluation
And of course we want to introduce you to the magical everyday life in Budapest.
Budapest has something for everyone – from dramatic history and flamboyant architecture to healing thermal waters and a nightlife that is unrivalled in Eastern and Central Europe. There’s a lot more to Hungarian food than goulash, and it remains one of the most sophisticated styles of cooking in Eastern and Central Europe. Magyars may exaggerate when they say that there are three essential world cuisines – French, Chinese and their own. However, Budapest’s reputation as a food capital dates largely from the late 19th and the first half of the 20th century and, despite a fallow period under communism, the city is once again commanding attention. So, too, are Hungary’s excellent wines – from Eger’s complex reds and Somló’s flinty whites to honey-sweet Tokaj.
