Politehnica University of Timișoara (UPT) is a public university in Timișoara, ROMANIA. Founded in 1920, it is one of the largest technical universities in Central and Eastern Europe. The 10 faculties of the university provide study programs for about 13,000 students.
The objectives of the 1st International Week are to present UPT in the “Timisoara European Capital of Culture” atmosphere, to share and exchange good practices and information related to the internationalization process, to strengthen Erasmus+ partnerships and to develop other valuable future projects.
During the UPT International Staff Week, the participants will find out more about the Politehnica University of Timisoara and have the opportunity to present their institutions, will participate at workshops on stress management and leadership, efficient communication, intercultural communication and on other milestones subjects that contribute to and are part of the internationalization process. Besides these, the participants will also take part in networking events.
The UPT International Staff Week is dedicated to non-teaching university staff, who would like to develop their managerial and cultural skills and share their good practices, as well as to the teaching ones who would like to improve their teaching skills and exchange experiences.
The working language for all activities will be English.
