Dear partner,
A little late, but since it is still January, we would like to take the opportunity to wish you a happy and healthy new year! We hope this year will be all the good that you expect of it and we’re looking forward to a new year of working together with you.
We would also like to remind you of our Windesheim International Week this coming April, from the 24th till the 28th.
We met many of you at the EAIE in Barcelona or other gatherings recently and promised to keep you up to date about the international week.
This time around we will be joined by our colleagues from the other departments, so there is even more opportunity to network and find out what Windesheim has to offer and how we can work together.
As the department of Health Care and Social Work, we will be running the week in a similar way as last year; full of workshops and networking moments and participation in our first-year student programme. The focus this year is Migration, Poverty and Intercultural Competences.
Besides that, there will be a more generic programme organized by our central International Office, with opportunities to engage on major topics such as diversity & inclusion, digital transformation, environment & fight against climate change etc.
On Thursday, the 27th we invite you to dive deep into Dutch culture as we are celebrating our Kings birthday. We can assure you, by the end of the day you’ve had a real taste of what the Dutch are like. On Friday we are hoping to organize some off campus work field visits.
