Dear Partners, Colleagues and Friends,
things are finally looking up, both here in Stuttgart and all around the world! Summer has arrived, more and more people have been receiving their vaccinations and it seems like the pandemic is under control for now. We know the past few months have been tough for all of you, too, so we hope you got through them well and that you are all doing great!
We recently concluded a survey amongst our exchange students and were happy to hear they had a great time studying with us despite the pandemic, as you can see in the word cloud attached.
We want to use these good news and this positive spirit to share some updates from Hochschule der Medien with you, so that you know what we have been up to and what’s coming up next. First of all, our students will return to campus this coming Winter Semester, starting in October. For our exchange students, this means that they will finally be able to get the full HdM experience again. We are sure that you are as excited about that as we are! We received more than 80 applications for the Winter Semester 2021/22 and cannot wait to welcome your students here in Stuttgart.
Furthermore, we have two important dates we would love you to save in your calendars. Our long-awaited International Week will take place on-site again this year. We look forward to meeting you in Amsterdam from November 21-23 and in Stuttgart from November 23-28, 2021.
Next year, we are welcoming your students to our Summer Course Innovation and Communication. It will take place from May 7-21, 2022 and we will share more information about it with you soon on the website.
The course is of 5 ECTS and aimed at students in the fields of journalism and communication of upper undergraduate and graduate level.
In the meantime, you might want to share our new International Magazine with your colleagues and students.
