Conference March 2023, UEKat, Poland

Greetings from the University of Economics in Katowice, Poland!

We are pleased to invite academic researchers from your University to participate in the
3rd International Women’s Day Conference in Economics, Finance and Management hybrid conference organized at the University of Economics in Katowice, from 8th to 9th May 2023.

The aim of the conference is to bring together academic researchers to celebrate the International Women’s day by promoting pluralism in economics, finance and management. We invite submissions from all researchers, regardless of their gender, interested in orthodox and heterodox approaches in their fields. We plan to organize sessions in Polish and in English. This year’s session topics include (but are not restricted to): climate change, role of women in the economy, digital/virtual economies, financial innovation, inflation and monetary policy, economic development, sustainable finance and human resources. We plan to sacrifice the first day of the conference to online presentations and the second day to inperson presentations, discussions and networking at the University. However, this plan depends on participants’ preferences.

Keynote speakers: Edith Kuiper, State University of New York at New Paltz and Nazim Hussain, University of Groningen
