The Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes (2021–2027) play a key role in developing more inclusive and cohesive societies in Europe, capable of growing in diversity. They promote equal opportunities, equal access, inclusion, diversity, and equity through their actions. The Inclusion and Diversity Strategy, seeks to establish fair access to the Erasmus+ programme for all individuals. It consists of specific objectives, target groups, inclusion approaches, and methods, for monitoring the strategy’s implementation. Inclusion of people facing access barriers, promotion of equal access to Erasmus+ programs, and capacity building are the main objectives. Due to the numerous benefits of inclusion, the University of West Attica, as an inclusive university, has established a strategy where, in its fully accessible facilities, everyone is welcomed, feels valued, included, and respected.
